ConnectHomeUSA continues its work and expansion by hosting our 4th annual summit on Monday, September 17th and Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 at HUD Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Pilot sites are cordially invited to a special closing ceremony on the morning of Wednesday, September 19th. This year's summit will bring together 75 participating communities, forming an extensive national network of housing providers, municipal agencies and community stakeholders that are dedicating themselves to digital inclusion!
This year's theme is "Connect to the Future!" a reflection of our goal to help families in public housing connect to the transformative tools of the Digital Age. These tools will prepare residents for the technology changes that lie ahead and the vast opportunities these changes will bring. By helping residents “Connect to the Future” entire communities can be transformed!
We invite each community to send two (2) representatives to attend, one representative from the housing provider and one representative from the municipal agency. Coalitions may bring a representative for each agency involved. Additional seats may be available upon request, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please book your travel now. Attendance for invited guests is free of charge, and while travel costs are not included, we have linked to local local transportation and lodging options for assistance when booking your travel.
The registration deadline is now passed and registration has closed. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. All attendees must have a valid photo id.
